A silver figurine of the forepart of a lion couchant. The paws extended to the front, head erect and alert, the mane and fur to the chest finely depicted. The back of the figurine extended to form a fixing rivet. Length 2.3 cms (0.9 ins) Circa 1st-2nd century AD.
